Adult ADHD post-diagnosis titration / management

This service supports adults who already have a formal ADHD diagnosis with titration, management or shared-care support under clinical supervision. It is not a diagnostic assessment.

Clinician: Abel Getachew, UK-registered clinician (GPhC 2217107). Verify registration.

Common symptoms and presentation

This service is for people who have already been diagnosed with ADHD by an appropriately qualified specialist.

How The Nelford Clinic assesses this

Assessment includes review of diagnosis and supporting documentation, current symptoms, relevant medical history, previous treatment, monitoring and the appropriate specialist-treatment or shared-care responsibility.

Who this service may be suitable for

This service may be suitable for adults with an existing ADHD diagnosis whose diagnosis, treatment responsibility and supporting documentation can be appropriately verified.

When online treatment may not be appropriate

This service is not suitable if you do not yet have a formal diagnosis, if the diagnosis or treatment responsibility cannot be verified, or if your clinical picture needs in-person or specialist assessment. It does not provide a stimulant bridge before the appropriate responsibility is established.

Treatment approach

Where appropriate, your clinician discusses treatment options as part of initiation or titration, in line with standard clinical practice and required monitoring. Remote care does not bypass the clinician's normal legal, professional, identity-verification or monitoring obligations.

Suitability and treatment are always decided by individual clinical assessment. A prescription is never automatic and is not guaranteed.

Safety and follow-up

Regular monitoring and follow-up are arranged throughout treatment, consistent with standard practice for ADHD medication management.

Caution: When to seek urgent care

If you experience severe side effects, or a mental-health crisis, seek urgent help - see Patient safety. If you have a medical emergency, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E. For urgent but non-emergency concerns, contact NHS 111. See Patient safety for full guidance.
